Executive Bios
Terry Morris
I’m Terry, the proud Founder and Executive Director of CLAAE. My role is to keep our work focused, safe, and genuinely impactful—and to make sure every person we serve (from staff to youth) feels seen, supported, and challenged to grow.
I started CLAAE because I know what it’s like to have big interests and not enough outlets. I wanted to build the kind of space where kids can try new things, make mistakes, learn, and keep going—without needing money, connections, or perfect grades to belong. CLAAE is a real launchpad for young people, not just something to do after school.
Priscilla Rodriguez
I’m Priscilla Rodriguez, CLAAE’s Community Programs Director. I support our community-facing work by helping manage the intern process and contributing to the funding and growth side of the organization.
I joined CLAAE because I could see what it could become—something powerful for kids who need more opportunities and more support. Growing up, I wish there were more organizations like CLAAE, because I didn’t have many outlets myself. I love being part of something that helps young people see that there’s more out there than what’s right in front of them.
Darrell Barron
As CLAAE’s Athletics Director, I oversee our athletic programming by planning and leading sports and fitness sessions, organizing practices and game-day activities, and working closely with coaches and volunteers. My goal is to make athletics a space where kids can show up as they are, improve step-by-step, and leave each session stronger—physically and mentally—within a culture built on effort, respect, and teamwork.
I joined CLAAE because youth development has been at the center of my work for over a decade, and I wanted to be part of a program that uses athletics to build confidence, discipline, and real-life skills.
Tiaka Wilson
My name is Tiaka Wilson, and I’m CLAAE’s Expanded Learning Opportunities Director. I help plan and coordinate the experiences youth get outside of the traditional classroom—enrichment activities, partnerships, workshops, field experiences, and other opportunities that help them explore interests and build skills.
I joined CLAAE because, as a mother of five, I care deeply about making sure young people have opportunities to grow early on. I earned my degree in culinary arts and have spent over 20 years in healthcare, so I bring a strong mix of creativity, structure, and care to the work. As a woman of color, I also understand how important it is for kids to see leadership that reflects them—and to be in spaces where their experiences are understood and valued.
Jonah Brown
I’m Jonah Brown, the Arts Director at CLAAE. I joined because I believe young people deserve real access to creative opportunities now—not “one day.” I wanted to help build a supportive space where youth can explore their talents, feel seen, and grow through the arts.
As Arts Director, I plan and lead arts activities, support youth as they try new skills, and work with the team to keep our programming consistent, organized, and meaningful. My goal is to make sure every young person who comes through CLAAE has a welcoming place to create, be themselves, and feel encouraged.
Intern Team
Trystan
I’m Trystan. I support CLAAE’s youth programs through direct practice, assist with community engagement, and help connect CLAAE to resources that strengthen the organization and better support the families we work with.
I’m new to mentoring, but I joined CLAAE to put my training into action as a social work student—especially in areas like child advocacy, positive youth development, and helping create strong, supportive environments for young people.
Sophie DeGurian
I’m Sophie, and I’m one of the newest additions to the CLAAE Foundation. I support CLAAE through social media content, outreach, connections, and marketing to help grow our visibility and engagement.
I joined CLAAE because I wanted to help a local Pittsburgh organization expand its platform while also building my skills and experience in media and marketing.
